After a spectacular 6th round, Peter Svidler is still half a point ahead of the rest of the pack at the Russian Championship in Nizhny Novgorod. Like the first round, all games were decisive and among the winners were Svidler himself, and also Vladimir Kramnik. In Bucharest Fabiano Caruana leads by a full point after beating Teimour Radjabov, while Levon Aronian tops the standings in Bilbao thanks to a win against Micky Adams.
